Frequently asked questions
Answers before you book
Pricing, turnaround, warranty, service area and more. Still not sure? Call or text us and we will walk you through it.
How pricing works
Every job starts with a free $0 diagnostic.
We diagnose the problem at no cost, then give you a flat-rate quote in writing. You only pay after you approve it — the price you approve is the price you pay. No hidden fees, no surprise charges.
Pricing & payment
How much will my repair cost?+
Every job starts with a free $0 diagnostic. Once we know exactly what is wrong, we give you a flat-rate quote in writing — most software fixes start around $79, and hardware repairs depend on the parts involved. You only pay after you approve the quote, and the price you approve is the price you pay.
Do I have to pay anything to book?+
No. Booking and the diagnostic are free. You only pay once you have approved a written quote, so there is never any obligation to move forward.
What payment methods do you accept?+
Cash, bank transfer, and all major cards. For larger jobs like custom PC builds we can split the cost into milestones (deposit, build, final payment).
Turnaround & warranty
How long does a repair take?+
Most repairs are ready the same day. Hardware that needs special-order parts may take 2-3 business days, and board-level console work is usually 2-5 days. We always give you a timeline before we start.
Is my repair guaranteed?+
Yes. Every repair includes a 60-day warranty on parts and labor. If the same issue comes back within that window, we make it right at no cost.
Should I repair or replace my device?+
We will tell you honestly. Sometimes a repair is not worth it for the age or value of the device, and we will say so rather than sell you one you do not need.
Service area & how it works
What areas do you serve?+
Bakersfield is our home base, and we also cover Delano, Shafter, Arvin, Lamont and the surrounding areas. Service is available on-site (mobile), remotely, or by drop-off at our Bakersfield location.
Do you come to me?+
Yes. We offer mobile on-site visits for hardware, secure remote sessions for software, and in-shop drop-off for repairs that need bench time. We help you pick whichever is fastest for your situation.
How does remote support work?+
We send you a secure link, you click it, and we connect to your screen. You see everything we do and can end the session at any time — no software to install, and we have no access after we disconnect.
Devices & data
What do you repair?+
Computers and laptops (Windows, macOS and Linux), printers, and game consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch), plus custom PC builds, software setup and system upgrades.
Is my data safe with you?+
Always. We never browse personal files, and for data-sensitive work we offer signed confidentiality and recommend an encrypted backup before we begin.
Are your technicians certified?+
Yes. Our work is backed by CompTIA A+ and Security+ certifications, kept current through continuing education and re-certification.
