Your Console Needs Airflow

Your Console Needs Airflow

Consoles pull in cool air and push out hot air constantly. Tuck one into a tight cabinet or let dust build up on the vents, and heat has nowhere to go — which shortens the life of the components inside.

Consoles are small, sealed and packed tight, so they depend completely on moving air to stay cool. Block the vents, stack things on top, or bury it in a closed cabinet, and the heat it generates gets trapped right where it does the most harm.

Keep it cool

  • Keep the vents clear and unblocked
  • Allow open space around the console
  • Clean dust buildup periodically

Good airflow is the easiest way to protect your console. If it already runs hot, ask InfixCorp for a cleaning and service.
